Magic, rare, and unique items found by the player are initially unidentified and a Scroll of Wisdom Scroll of Wisdom Stack Size: 40 Identifies an item Right click this item then left click an unidentified item to apply it. ![]() Statistics impacting Item Rarity change the chance at each step. The game rolls for rarity, in order, starting with: unique, followed by rare, then magic, if none of the other rarities are rolled the item will be normal. But it wouldn’t be a painful and very grindy way to level gems as it is now.Items receive a random rarity with normal items being the most common and unique items the least common. The gems wouldn’t go from rank 0 to 125 as soon as you clear the first GR. I know Diablo games have a lot of rng, but in D3 it has way too much rng.Īlso it would mean that the gems would level way faster due to you doing higher GRs for paragons. It removes some of the rng that is a pain in the butt as well. It covers all of the bases, it encourages doing higher level GRs due to how slow and inefficient it would be to level a gem from 1-125 doing nothing but GR45s or less. If you don’t want to change which gem (s) will level along with your legendary gems in your jewelry then you just close the GR. ![]() Urshi is chosen to have you choose which gem (s) that you will want to also gain experience outside of your legendary gems that are in your jewelry. ![]() The higher difficulty you are playing will net you more experience as well as doing higher level GRs will grant more experience for you legendary gems. The gems in your gear would get experience as you gain paragon experience. The compromise that might be harder is to overhaul the leveling of gems for augments. While it would be easier to strip the soul shards of their power and just have them as augment shards that drop with either ranked at rank 3 or have another consumable similar to the embers to rank them. I agree as well as the rest, but there is a compromise that I would accept that would probably be harder to do. ![]()
